Students 2.0 posting

This post from Classroom 2.0 was shared with me by my friend Clif Mims, who’s a professor at the University of Memphis.

The post gives us, as educators and teacher educators, a stronger sense that our impression of media-driven students is in fact a reality, a concept that has been talked about for a few years, and is now becoming more evident with students in classrooms that are experts at You Tube, digital media and creating technology-rich products.

What are your thoughts? How do educators- whether technology-savvy or not- keep the motivation of students maintained when they are used to multi-sensory and engaging activities?
